The new gymnasium of the high school was completed in 1999 as an extension of the existing, too small building complex; and the administrative and classroom section was built in 2002. The four thousand square meter, U shaped block hosts ten classrooms, four group activity rooms, a natural sciences lab, a library, offices and the gymnasium. The wing containing the classrooms looks over Csekey István Street in a cogging structure. The main facade cambering in the middle looks to the north towards Körös Street; the gymnasium looks onto Dobó István Street, and the three two-storey cogging wings of the gymnasium are on Csekey István Street. The facades are covered with light coloured bricks. The simple overall structure is, in a way, characteristic to the time of transition it was built in.
